Sample DNA Test Results

We are often requested as to what a DNA Paternity Test result looks like. We have therefore attached below two sample DNA test results. The reports below represent motherless DNA paternity tests and show the result when there is an inclusion and an exclusion of the alleged father. Of course these are only sample reports (names are ficticious) but should give you a good idea what your result will look like. As you can see we also report the genetic markers tested to arrive at the paternity test result.

Below find the sample reports. The wording on other types of DNA tests will vary slightly depending on the test you select.

Visit our page : Interpreting your DNA Paternity Test report for more information how to understand your test result.

Other information about our DNA Test Results

  1. Although we state 16 loci, one of the actual genetic loci (allele) tested called Amelogenin is analysed to confirm the actual sex of the person. The CPI analysis is therefore based on 15 loci. See article 'The Amelogenin Gene in DNA Testing' for more information.

  2. Tests performed through discrete samples such as hair or semen do not effect the presentation of the result, since one the DNA is successfully extracted from the sample, the testing process follows the same process as that of the standard swab analysis.

easyDNA now gives you the opportunity to have your DNA sequence presented to you as a graphical image called an electropherogram. Click here to understand more >>> What is an electropherogram?
