DNA Relationship Testing

Our tests start from as little as $589 and cover a wide range of relationships including DNA Siblings Test for siblings of both sexes, as well testing between Aunt/Uncles and Grandparents. The relationship test can therefore be used to determine if two or more individuals share a biological relation.

Relationship testing is mostly applicable when one of the alleged parents is unavailable or unwilling to participate in a DNA Paternity Test. For example, if two siblings want to know if they are related and the common parent is not available, then a DNA Siblings test can be performed to determine if they share a biological relationship.

Relationship Testing is however a bit more complex than the standard paternity testing, therefore each case should be discussed in advance with the technical staff of easyDNA who will guide you on the most appropriate test. easyDNA offers the following type of testing and information:

Sibling DNA Testing          Order here

The DNA Sibling Test can be used in situations where two or more alleged siblings wish to determine whether they are biologically related or not, as well as possibly confirming if they are either full or half siblings. This type of test can be performed without the sample of the parent, however when testing for half siblings, we recommend that the samples of the known parent/s (normally the Mother) are also included to strengthen the results of the test.

The following options are also available depending on the sex of  the parties to be tested:

• If siblings are male, and want to determine whether they share the same father, we recommend using our Y-Chromosome Test which determines male lineage. For more information on this test visit our Y-Chromosome Testing page.
