The Grandparentage DNA test can be used to determine the biological relationship between grandparents and an alleged child. This test is mostly applicable in situations where the alleged father of the child is unable (e.g. deceased) or unwilling to participate in a DNA Paternity test. In such cases, we will test the parents of the alleged father to determine if they are the biological relatives of the child, thereby confirming the paternity of the alleged father.
For this test, we strongly recommended that both grandparents participate to strenghten the results and obtain a more conclusive result. If this is not possible, then you can proceed to test only one of the grandparents. The sample of a common parent (normally the Mother) is also recommended to strengthen the results of the test.
Grandparentage DNA Testing Options (Order here)
Single grandparent DNA analysis : This test will include only ONE of the grandparents. We also strongly recommend to include the sample of the Mother where available to strenghten the results.
Duo grandparent DNA analysis : (RECOMMENDED) This test will include both the grandfather and grandmother in the testing. The sample of the Mother is also recommended in this test but not necessary. The DNA of the grandparents will be compared to that of the grandchild to determine if they are related to the child or otherwise.
Our Grandparentage test is priced from $589 and you can Order Here. Results will be sent to you within 5-7 working days from the day we receive the samples at the laboratory. An express option is also available for faster results.
