easyDNA, the international DNA testing company, has recently come to a signed agreement with Congo company DNA Check regarding the promotion of DNA testing in the Democratic Republic of Congo. Sydney, AUSTRALIA 01/07/2008 International DNA testing firm, easyDNA, and local firm, DNA Check, have signed an agreement to promote the provision of DNA screening services in the Democratic Republic of Congo, known as DR Congo to distinguish it from its neighbor Republic of the Congo. Included in the agreement are the marketing and technical support provided by easyDNA, and a site has been set up specifically to handle the promotion of the wide range of DNA testing services offered by easyDNA. DNA Check will be involved in a number of TV promotions and other events to market the provision of DNA testing services within DR Congo, which will also be directly promoted in hospitals and clinics with a view to increasing public awareness of what DNA testing can do. Sales and Marketing Director Andrew Alexander believes that local markets are best served by cooperation between easyDNA and local services. “easyDNA is continually seeking ways of expanding geographically, and we have had enquiries from DR Congo in the past. It seemed logical that, when DNA Check contacted us, we teamed up with them to best use our range of skills and services combined with their local knowledge to meet the needs of the DNA testing market. We are looking forward to expanding our presence in the Congo and Central Africa in general.” |
