Electropherogram
The electropherogram is a plotting of results on a graph that will clearly show the DNA peaks. To enable the peaks to be mapped, a process known as electrophoresis is crucial; this process involves the analysis of the molecule in a fluid and subjected to a uniform magnetic field. Special fluorescent dyes are also used to mark the varying peaks. The process is clearly, very scientifically complex, but the graph is very interesting to have as it can give a better picture and a far more personalized result. You may also often be able to have the electropherogram after you have received your results.
